Deacon Patrick Shanley is one of two deacons serving at St. Martin de Porres Parish, which includes St. Mary of the Assumption in Scottsville, St. Columba in Caledonia, and St. Vincent de Paul in Churchville. With more than 53 years of ministry experience, he has devoted his life to faith and service. Married to his late wife Jeanne for nearly 44 years, he is a proud father of three and grandfather of three. Deacon Pat enjoys spending time in God’s creation through biking, camping, and hiking, and finds prayerful joy in playing guitar and singing—two passions deeply woven into his spiritual life. He will share how God has worked throughout his journey.
